Great little Mexican market in east GB. I stop here at least once a month to pick up some of their tortillas, beans, limes, spices, etc.. The prices are ridiculously low. I usually end up leaving having only spent $5-$10 on several meals worth of food.
La Espiga is a great little mercado serving the East side with authentic Mexican specialties. I came in for chiles and was not disappointed. They carry a ton of dried, fresh and canned chiles from poblano and guajillo to everything in between. I had time to peruse the aisles as well as the attached carneceria and found some really great looking chicharrones and some nice produce. I also found their prices, especially for imported products to be very reasonable. I'll definitely be back next time I'm making Mexican for dinner.
